My business started because a dear friend (and realtor) believed in me and with my life-long experience in avocational building and construction. my ability to inspect homes. She said, “You can do this!”  So, I began to learn everything I could about detailed inspecting a home. I shadowed other home inspectors, got certified through American Home Inspectors Training (AHIT) and continue my education with InterNACHI (InterNational Association of Certified Home Inspectors). Having served in the Military, worked for a major aircraft company, Homeland security and retired from the City of Los Angeles, I understand the importance of hard work, dedication, first-time quality and commitment to excellence. Being up front, honest and delivering an accurate inspection report is as important to me as you knowing what you are committing to when you buy your house is important to you.

Dupre Home Inspections started when a dear friend of mine who is also a realtor believed in me and my lifelong experience in academic building and construction as well as my ability to inspect homes. She told me that I could do this.

After receiving that encouragement from my dear friend, I began to learn everything I could about the detailed inspection of a home. I started by shadowing other home inspectors until I got certified through the American Home Inspectors Training (AHIT). I then continued my education at the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI).
Having served in the Military, worked for a major aircraft company, Homeland Security, and retired from the City of Los Angeles, I know and understand the importance of hard work, dedication, first-time quality, and commitment to excellence. Moreover, being up-front, honest, and delivering an accurate inspection report is as important to me as knowing what you are committing to when you buy your house.
